Hi, my name is Angi. I’m
so glad you’re here.
My mama and I have always wanted to put together a family
cookbook so the recipes and traditions of the past are not lost. My vision for this blog is to be a place to
share those recipes and traditions with you.
I love to cook! I have often said that cooking and baking are my
therapy. I was born and raised in
Arkansas but have recently moved to the Midwest with my family. I started
posting to sweetsoutherncomforts.blogspot.com in 2011 but work/family
obligations have kept me from posting for a while and now I find myself in a
position to start posting again.
Growing up I learned to cook from my mama and my
grandmother. We’ve always said that
Nana’s PB&J Sandwiches were the best.
There’s just something about a grandmother’s touch that makes it better.
All of the recipes I share on this blog have been passed down to
me by family and friends. If they are
similar to or the same as someone else’s recipe it is strictly by
coincidence. Any recipes that are not my
own will contain proper credit.
Thank you for checking us out.
Please introduce yourself in the comments and I hope to see you again
real soon.
